Established in 2020 by local artists, Hannah Shaw and Belinda Latimer, MakeSpace Cornwall CIC, has a mission to develop a space to make, learn and create with a focus on well being.
The aim of MakeSpace is to boost well-being and pride of place for the community of St. Blazey & Par Bay, by providing a hub in which to experience a wide range of creative and well-being opportunities.
To create a community art space, with regular workshops run by specialist makers from across Cornwall, making crafts and design accessible to the community.
Alongside this, we are currently in search of the right venue to provide enough space for professional studios where artists can operate their businesses and create a much need creative community for Mid Cornwall.
Alongside Delivering a set of Values that has well being at its centre we are socially invested and engaging with the local social prescribing team in St. Austell health care and their app 'Help at hand community'
